In Cologne, DLR is active in the research fields of aeronautics, space, transport, energy and security. The backbone of research and development is formed by large-scale research facilities such as wind tunnels, engine and material test stands and a high-flux density solar furnace.

ESA’s European Astronaut Centre (EAC) in Cologne, Germany, is the European center of excellence for astronaut training, operations and space medicine. Home to ESA’s astronaut corps, it equips Europeans to fly to the International Space Station today, while preparing for an exciting future of space exploration beyond low Earth orbit.

What does it take for one to become an European astronaut? What kind of exciting research  does DLR do? These kind of questions can easily be answered at the European Astronaut Center and at the DLR Headquarters in Cologne!

The excursion will take place on December 11, at 14:00 and the tour will be about 3 hours. The transportation options will be emailed to you after registry. What are you waiting for? You can register until 25th of November and the number of spots is limited, so book yours now!
