Always wanted to work with space technology? And are you in for a challenge? You can join two international competitions in which your ideas can contribute to a better life on earth.
The Copernicus Masters is for anyone who can think of smart applications using earth observation data. Imagine what’s possible with ultramodern satellite images from space! There is something for everyone: Copernicus Masters has created 8 different challenges together with partners ESA European Space Agency (ESA), German Aerospace Center (DLR), Astrosat, Planet, BayWa, Airbus, sobloo and the German Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI). The Netherlands Space Office will be regional Copernicus Associate.
Satellite navigation applications go far car navigation software. For example, think of GPS tracking in the sports startup Johan Sports. Students can participate with just an idea. But you can also compete with a market ready solution from your startup or company.
Partners of this competition are the European GNSS Agency (GSA), German Aerospace Center (DLR), and the German Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI). Dutch input comes from regional partner NSO. But you are not bound to a country: participants can choose from as many as 18 challenges within specific regions in Europe.
